Liz Hemphill, M.Ed., LPC

Liz Hemphill is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with experience in both school settings and private practice. She brings 10 years of experience working in schools and 5 years in private practice, supporting individuals through a variety of emotional and life challenges. Liz has trained at Southern Methodist University and Angelo State University, is a Licensed Educational Counselor in Texas, and has completed Brainspotting Level 1 training.

Liz’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in meeting you exactly where you are. She believes that reaching out for support takes courage, and when you’re ready, she is honored to walk alongside you. Together, you can work toward greater clarity, healing, and a sense of steadiness in your life.

Liz works with teens navigating self-worth and identity, parents seeking to raise resilient children in an ever-changing world, and women in midlife facing anxiety, depression, or questions around direction and meaning. She also has a strong passion for supporting individuals experiencing grief and loss.

Her work focuses on helping clients process trauma, manage anxiety, and navigate difficult thoughts and emotions, including suicidal ideation. Liz integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Brainspotting into her work, with an emphasis on building practical skills that clients can apply immediately in their everyday lives.

Outside of her clinical work, Liz enjoys spending time with her family and finding ways to relax and recharge. She was raised in the Rockwall area and now lives in Dallas with her husband.
