Jennifer “Jeni” Adair is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas who brings a deeply rooted background in education, counseling, and family support to her work. With over 14 years in public schools, additional experience in private education, and time in private practice, Jeni offers a thoughtful, experienced perspective shaped by both clinical training and real-world connection with children, teens, and families. She holds a Master of Science in Education in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in School and Community Counseling from Baylor University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Theater Arts from East Texas Baptist University. Her early clinical training included work with the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Families, where she supported individuals and families navigating trauma and crisis.

At some point, life can feel overwhelming, isolating, or simply harder than expected. Jeni creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore challenges, gain insight, and begin moving forward with intention. She is known for her ability to meet clients where they are, helping them feel seen, understood, and supported while setting realistic, meaningful goals. She considers it a true privilege to walk alongside her clients as they work toward lasting growth and change.

Jeni works with children, teens, and adults, offering in-person sessions for younger children and telehealth for adolescents and adults. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, academic and school-related concerns, and self-esteem development. With her extensive background in education, she is especially attuned to the emotional and academic pressures many students and families face.

Her approach is person-centered and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), blending empathy, authenticity, and practical skill-building. Jeni helps clients develop tools such as coping strategies, grounding techniques, cognitive restructuring, and self-regulation skills that can be applied in everyday life. She believes individuals already possess the capacity for growth and works collaboratively to help clients reconnect with their strengths, build resilience, and engage more fully in their personal and professional lives.

Outside of her clinical work, Jeni is a wife and mother of two teenage daughters and serves as a full-time school counselor on a bilingual campus. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets, cooking, traveling, reading, and being in nature. She brings a grounded, compassionate presence into the therapy space, creating an environment where clients can feel both supported and empowered.
